What Is Cardiomegaly?

Cardiomegaly, also known as an enlarged heart, is a medical condition that is characterized by the enlargement of the heart in size. It can be caused by a number of medical conditions, including high blood pressure, coronary artery disease, and valve disorders. It is usually a sign of some other conditions, such as high BP, or some heart condition.  In this, the heart becomes abnormally enlarged.   • Swelling of the legs, ankles and feet
